Deputy foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araqchi in a meeting with a parliamentary delegation of Korea stated that the United States cannot be trusted.
During the meeting he noted that the US decision to withdraw from the Joint comprehensive plan of action (SVPD) showed that they should not be trusted in negotiations.
“The most important tool against independent countries such as Iran and North Korea, are economic sanctions,” Araqchi was quoted by Mehr.
Earlier, the US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo called on the international community to increase pressure on Tehran to end its “destabilizing behavior”.
