The foreign Ministry is concerned about the use of the Bulgarian minority to destabilize the South of the Odessa region
Uncategorized June 9, 2017KIEV. June 9. UNN. The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine is concerned about the attempts of certain forces, using the Bulgarian national minority, to undermine the situation in the South of Odessa region, reports UNN citing the foreign Ministry statement.
“The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine with concern, watching the attempts to use the Bulgarian national minority to destabilize the situation in the South of Odessa region. Recent incidents which have taken place with certain representatives of the Bulgarian community, is in no way associated with their ethnicity, and was provoked by the statements, kotorye in the face of continued Russian aggression are perceived is extremely sensitive,” – said in a statement.
The foreign Ministry has condemned any violent action to clarify interpersonal relations. The Ministry said that Ukrainian law enforcement agencies already conduct the necessary investigations.
“The results of the investigation the perpetrators will bear the responsibility stipulated by law”, – said in a statement.
“I would like to note that the Ukrainian government since independence, guarantees and properly provides for the implementation of the national-cultural rights and needs of the Bulgarian national minority. We will continue to make every effort to prevent attempts by certain forces and States to disrupt inter-ethnic peace and consent in Ukraine and worsen friendly relations with neighboring countries”, – concluded the Minister.
We will add, may 30, during a session of the Belgorod-Dniester city Council, over 300 members of the Bulgarian communities of Bessarabia blocked the road in front of city Council. They opposed the attack on may 18 Deputy Vasily Kashi, and also against other alleged harassment of the community, including the desecration of the Bulgarian monuments.
