In connection with resonant fire at the Odessa College of Economics, law and hotel and restaurant business dismissed the chief of head Department gschs in Odessa region Victor Fedorchuk and one of his deputies, Mikhail Vovk.

This was reported by the press service of the regional Central Board gschs.

As noted, the order of the SSES of Ukraine the General-the major of service of civil protection of Fedorchak discharged APU.

Another order of the SSES dismissed Deputy head for prevention of emergency situations Mikhail Volkov.

By order of the SSES of Ukraine of December 20, the chief of a regional Central Board gschs appointed Colonel Vadim Suluk, who was the first Deputy Fedorchak, after the removal of which fulfilled duties of the chief of a Central Board.

As explained by UNIAN, the representative of the administration, both the dismissal related to the fire College, which led to massive loss of life.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on the morning of 4 December in the Odessa College of Economics, law and hotel and restaurant business on the 3rd floor of a 6 storied academic building was on fire, the area of which reached 4 thousand sq. m. this corner building was occupied by 19 different organizations and institutions.

The fire killed 16 people, injured more than 30 people.

Upon a fire criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 270 (violation established by the legislation of fire safety requirements) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. In addition, in connection with the fire, RRT is conducting an investigation on the fact of official negligence of employees of the regional Central Board gschs (part 2 of article 367 of the CCU).

17 December it became known that the cause of the fire was faulty electrical wiring or appliances.

During a recent visit to Odessa, Prime Minister Alexey Goncharuk declared that will petition for the dismissal of Fedorchuka. Today at session of the Odessa regional Council deputies appealed to the leadership of the DSNs and the interior Ministry with a request to dismiss Fedorchak.
