The events of may 2 in Odessa: the court transferred the case of a member of the riots

The Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region on Thursday, June 22, gave the court an indictment against the alleged participants of the mass riots in Odessa on 2 may 2014. Reports a press about it-service of Prosecutor’s office.

Actions accused are qualified under part 2 of article 294 of the criminal code (mass disorders that led to death). The prosecutors say that the defendant was hiding from the investigation authorities.

May 2, 2014 in Odessa, during the riots killed 48 people, 247 suffered. Towards evening in the city centre, clashes broke out between participants of Pro-Ukrainian rally, the fans of FC Chernomorets and Metalist on the one hand and supporters of the Pro-Maidan.
