This decision was supported by the European Council at the level of heads of state and government of member countries of the EU, which is meeting on 14-15 December in Brussels, reports UKRINFORM.
“The European Council calls for the strengthening of the strategic partnership between EU higher education institutions and encourages the creation until 2024 some twenty of the “European universities”, which will include a vertical network of universities in the EU. This will allow students to acquire the educational qualification, combining study in some EU countries, and the international competitive ability of European universities,” – said in the conclusions of the European Council.
In addition, as noted in the recently published proposals of the European Commission on creating a single European educational space in the EU are planning to enhance language learning, so that young people owned at least two European languages in addition to his native.
