The European court of human rights (ECHR) ordered Russia to carry out a medical examination of one of the convicted for “swamp case” Ivan the forgetful, and two prisoners Yaroslavl IK-1 Evgeny Makarov and Ruslan Vagapov and give the ECHR the results of this survey. According to human rights, the ECHR ordered to conduct a survey in the presence of the defenders prisoners. Also Russia is obliged to provide evidence that inmates have unimpeded access to their advocates, information about the results of consideration of complaints of beatings and torture.
In addition, the court demanded the authorities to provide the defenders an opportunity to use photo and video when you visit prisoners. Russia must report “adopted urgent measures” until may 4.
The lawyer Irina Biryukova said that the court has issued its decision at the same time the lawyers and the Russian Ministry of justice, which should control his ispolneniem. She suggested that the physical examination may be delayed because of the Federal penitentiary service will refer on holidays and weekends, the time required to search for doctors, and will appoint a Commission after the holidays, reports RIA “Novosti”.
Engineer Ivan Sciences is the 33rd defendant in the “Bolotnaya case”, in December 2015, he was sentenced to 2.5 years and is serving a sentence in the Yaroslavl colonies N1. He was accused of participation in mass riots and violence against police. April 28, Nepomnyashchikh appointed five days in a penal insulator (SHIZO), reported in Facebook the other convicted in Bolotnaya case Alexander Margolin.
