KIEV. July 24. UNN. A special Commission of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine has identified fuel theft in especially large sizes in the 46th United center for the southern region in Odessa. “The Commission in Odessa last week was found in a 46-m center ensure a great shortage of fuels and lubricants, namely, diesel fuel, various grades of 204 tons, gasoline AI92 about 2.5 tons. A preliminary assessment of the damage to the state amounts to more than 6,4 million UAH”, – said Marchenko.

According to him, the cause of the fuel shortages was the inability of the leadership of the center to establish order and control the receipt and storage of fuel and lubricants. As Marchenko noted in their explanations, the head of the center Eugene King said the shortage occurred because of a fuel leak from the tank. Although the inspection found that it is not.

In addition, the Commission was identified in the Central data storage of more than 34 metric tons of excess diesel fuel and more than 204 tons of aviation fuel totaling more than 1.1 million.

As Marchenko noted, the fuel most likely planned to sell for the purpose of self enrichment of those responsible.
