The danger of shopping in Viber: in Kharkov were selling fake whiskey

KIEV. 8 Feb. UNN. In the Kharkiv oblast tax police found alcohol in the system. The attacker were selling fake whiskey and cognac, through the mobile app “Viber”. This was told first Deputy head of the state of GFS in the Kharkiv region Andriy Yanchuk, reports UNN with reference to the press service of the administration.

Thus, in the framework of the operation “Excise tax 2018”, workers of tax militia of the region stopped the activities of another illegal workshop for the production of alcoholic beverages.

“The total amount of seized goods and materials is more than 2 million, of which excisable goods for the sum more than 1 million 500 thousand UAH”, – stated in the message.

During carrying out quickly-investigative actions it was established that 40-year-old from Kharkiv has opened a sweatshop for the mass production of vodka products.

“Illegally manufactured counterfeit alcoholic beverages, the inventor implemented via the Internet, mobile app “Viber” and through courier services delivery of goods across the territory of Ukraine”, – said A. Yanchuk.

On signs of the crime provided p. 1, part 3 of article 204 of the Criminal code of Ukraine, opened criminal proceedings.

We will add that today, according to General Director of the company Eastern Beverage Trading Olga Ivushkina, a legitimate business with a bottle of vodka earns a hundred times smaller shadow.
