“A resident of Yalta, Russia-annexed Crimea, human rights activist Yunus Masharipov alleges torture by officers of the Federal security service of Russia”, — stated in the message.
According to Masharipova in the management of the FSB in Yalta he was questioned about frequent trips to the mainland Ukraine. He said that from 2014 it engaged in human rights work, “telling the organizations about the violation of children’s rights, disabled persons and pensioners”. Then Masharipova, according to him, began to beat and torture by electric current.
He also noted that he had to incriminate himself: under the influence of torture, he pointed out, was “an agent of the SBU and did his job.”
Earlier Masharipov said that on 27 September 2017 unknown attacked him, beat him, and then taken to the FSB building in Yalta. On 27 September he was arrested by the Kremlin-controlled of the Yalta city court for two months on charges of manufacturing an explosive device. During the court session, the accused stated about torture, but the response of the court was not. From testimony Masharipov refused.
“At the moment the FSB threaten me with death, zapravleny in a mental hospital for life due to the fact that according to article 51 I refused what I gave testimony under torture,” added the accused.
