Three men were convicted of attacks on the military and explosions at railway stations

Oktyabrsky district court of Kharkiv has convicted three men of committing a number of terrorist acts on the territory of the city and region. About it reports a press-service of the regional Prosecutor’s office.
Two of the accused, 36 and 38-year-old Kharkiv pleaded not guilty and refused to cooperate with the investigation. The court has appointed punishment in the form of 11 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. 28-year-old man who pleaded guilty and sincerely repented, sentenced to 6 years imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The defendant was charged with the shelling of Ordzhonikidze and Frunzensky district of Kharkov commissioners (September 2014), terror attacks at train stations “Zalyutino” (October 2014), “Shebelinka” (January 2015) and “Novozhenova” (March 2015), the shelling of the office of the private legal institutions (September 2014) and OOO “Harbouring” (January 2015), preparation of act of terrorism on the territory of the oil base in October 2014.
The verdict has not yet entered into force because the time for appeal.
Earlier, the court of appeal overturned the conviction of the creators of the “new Russia TV”.
