Today, 22 November, the Kyiv district court of Odessa has changed the measure of restraint from detention in jail to house arrest one of the foreigners – a citizen of Georgia, the invalid of the 1st group, who is suspected in the assassination of a famous public man, the leader of the city organization of the party “people’s Force” Oleg Mikhailik.
As reported the UNIAN in court, the court received the petition for prolongation of term of detention against suspects of attempt at murder of the activist. “Having considered the petition, the judge denied the motion. Thus, the third suspect elected a measure of restraint in the form of a round-the-clock house arrest for a period of 2 months, i.e. until 22 January 2019,” – said in court.
In particular, we are talking about Tornike Agladze (Gerasin) who is disabled.
The court noted that yesterday the two suspects was extended the measure of restraint in form of detention for 60 days.

Today, the court questioned as a witness, including the Consul of Georgia in Odessa of Tornike, Berekashvili, who noted that the suspect is in jail with a disability was not provided the appropriate conditions of detention.
As reported the UNIAN, on September 22 in the center of Odessa on Mikhailik was assassinated. He received a penetrating gunshot wound to the shoulder and thorax area. At the moment, the police are considering several versions of the assassination attempt on activist. In particular, one of them is connected with the public activities Mikhailik, the second with the construction of the residential complex “Gold coast” third – market “Success”.
On September 25, the Prosecutor of Odessa region Oleg Zhuchenko announced the arrest of three suspects in the assassination of the activist, which 27 September, the court ruled to arrest without the right of bail.
September 28, the police said that the detained three citizens of Georgia are members of an ethnic organized criminal group. According to the defense, one of them Tornike Agladze (Gerasin) – has a disability the first group.
15 August in Odessa was held the meeting of the first Deputy head of the national police Vyacheslav Abroskin and the Consul of Georgia in Odessa of Tornike, Berekashvili, who asked him to pay attention to the health of the suspect, Agladze.
Abroskin has promised that all the necessary medical examinations will be conducted.
