Hamovnichesky court of Moscow ruled to arrest for two months the inhabitant of Nizhnevartovsk Alexei Baryshnikov, who seized hostages in a Bank branch in the capital. It is reported TASS with reference to the press service of the court.

“The court has satisfied the petition of the investigation and chose a measure of restraint in form of detention in respect of Alexei Baryshnikov, accused under article 206 of the Russian criminal code (“Capture of hostages”), for a term until 23 July,” — said in court.

Earlier Baryshnikov was charged.

On may 23, the man entered the Bank branch in the center of Moscow and stated that he had a bomb. He was detained in the assault. No one was hurt.
