The disciplinary Committee of the International football Federation (FIFA) did not conduct an investigation regarding the legality or illegality of the participation of Junior Moraes in the qualifying matches of Euro-2020 in the national team of Ukraine. Anyway, at the moment, no one appealed to FIFA on the matter and were not asked to study the question of the naturalization of Ukrainian Brazilian origin.

“At the time of response to your request no contact no contact on the subject mentioned in your letter,” replied FIFA on the issue, open a disciplinary case against FFU and Junior Moraes.
Earlier Portuguese publication Maisfutebol have reported that the FFU has violated rules governing the naturalization of the player for the Ukrainian team threatened defeats in two qualifying matches of Euro 2020, with Portugal (0:0) and Luxembourg (2:1).
