The case of a driver BlaBlaCar: the investigation of the police found to be ineffective

The Prosecutor General’s office found to be ineffective eighteen-month investigation by Nicoletia killing the driver BlaBlaCar Taras pozniakova and for this reason gave a result of own investigators. This is stated in the answer of GPU to appeal to people’s Deputy Vitaly Cuprija, which he published in his Facebook.

According to the document sought in this case Russian citizen Luan Kingisepp suspect under clauses 6, 12 of part 2 of article 115 (premeditated murder), part 3 St. 289 (misappropriation vehicle), part 1 of article 263 of the criminal code (illegal handling of weapons).

“It is established that pre-trial investigation by the investigative Department of GUNP in the Kiev region is inefficient in violation of articles 2, 28, 40 of the CPC. More than a year and a half of investigation, the whereabouts of the suspect and the corpse of the victim”, – noted in GPU.

“In view of the fact that the investigation requires a professional level of more experienced investigators, with the goal of providing the most effective investigation by the Prosecutor General 09.10.2017 the implementation of pre-trial investigation in the specified criminal proceedings is entrusted to the Main investigation Department of the gpou,” – said in the document.
