The “capture” of the military unit near Odessa: version developer

Representatives of the developer, which the workers allegedly tried to seize military unit near Odessa, said that they have all necessary permissions to carry out works and actions of soldiers who tried to prevent them from doing, called illegal. About it today on a press-conferences were reported by the General Director of city Center Andrei Halagur and head of the legal Department of the company Irina Kostenko, reports UNIAN.

According to Halahora, two months ago, the Center began construction of the third phase of the shopping center, which is planned to place children’s sports complex. In this regard the need arose to install a fence construction according to building codes and regulations.

The CEO of the company claims that they have all permits for the installation of fences. According to him, the land on which is under construction, belongs to the community of Odessa. At the same time, says Halagur, people who called themselves representatives of the military units are unable to provide any documents confirming their right to land.

“We have all permits. We act within the law. The information that the construction work carried out on the territory of military unit – an absolute fiction. Upon completion of construction fence will be moved to the previous limits. In addition, we at own expense to eliminate the consequences of the establishment of temporary fencing,” said Galahar.

“The boundaries of a military unit is not broken. The fence is made exactly for the distance which is necessary for the construction work. He argues that the transfer of the fencing within the construction site make it impossible to continue construction, which carried out a number of related organizations on which contracts have been signed.

Previously, the command of the Air forces of Ukraine reportedthat in Odessa on 29 October at about 08:45 unknown in balaclavas tried to seize part of the territory of military object – the ownership of the Ministry of defense.

When the police denied the information spread by the press service of the command of the Air forces of Ukraine, and stated that attempts to seize military unit near Odessa was not. According to the adviser of the head of national police of the Odessa region Ruslan Forostyak, militiamen arrived to the specified military unit, found that construction work carried out outside the territory of the military unit and the people in attendance are the builders, and not “aunts or some unidentified persons”. He also said that the developer has all permits for construction in this area from local authorities.
