As the correspondent of the UNIAN reports, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman announced during a briefing during his trip to Dnipropetrovsk region, answering the question of whether there is representation on dismissal of the Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration.
“Official announcement from the President was received by the government today. And the government will consider it,” said the Prime Minister.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko his decree of 6 April was suspended Stepanova from the post of Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration and appointed first Deputy Sergey Parashchenko acting Chairman of regional state administration.
In turn, Stepanov refused to leave the post of Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration, calling illegal the decree Poroshenko about the suspension. In particular, as noted by Stepanov, to dismiss and appoint heads of administrations, the President may solely at the proposal of the Cabinet. While Stepanov confirmed that he was “made an offer” to write the application at own will.
Reference to UNIAN. Stepanov was appointed Chairman of governors in January 2017, he was succeeded by Mikheil Saakashvili. Prior to this appointment, Stepanov headed the state enterprise “Printing plant “Ukraina” for production of securities”.
