The ban on hunting: the Ministry of environment made a moose in the Red book
Uncategorized December 20, 2017The Minister of ecology and natural resources of Ostap, Semerak signed an order on making a moose in the Red book. The Minister said on his page in Facebook.
“Yesterday I signed a decree on the inclusion of moose in the Red book. This means that after the state registration order of my hunters will have no right to kill these animals, despite the previously agreed limits,” – said Semerak.
According to him, the path to this decision was difficult because for the last ten months have felt strong resistance, pressure and blackmail.
“I also understand that in Ukraine the total problem of poaching. Even in the summer increased the penalties for this illegal activity could solve the situation, because in order for the fines acted, it is necessary that things had to end, and not falling apart in the courts,” – said the Minister.
He added that the number of cases involving poaching incidents recorded this year was just closed for lack of evidence. “That means you need to improve the system of state protection of flora and fauna, supervision and control” – said Semerak.
