The attack on the Odessa activist Ustimenko: the court reversed the case back to the Prosecutor’s office

KIEV. April 25. UNN. The court of appeal overturned the decision to return to Prosecutor’s office criminal proceedings concerning the attempt on the life of activist, the leader Odessa “Automaidan” Vitaly Ustimenko. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor of the Odessa Region, reports UNN.

So, on Wednesday, the Odessa appellate court satisfied the appeal complaint of Prosecutor’s office of the district court’s decision. This claim is also supported by the side of the victims.

“So, cancelled the decision of seaside district court for the return of the indictment on the assassination attempt on the life of activist Prosecutor’s office to address deficiencies that have not found their confirmation in the course of the appeal”, – is spoken in the message.

Currently assigned to the consideration of the indictment in the Primorsky district court of Odessa in another part of the court.

Also at the request of the Prosecutor’s office for two months prolonged the term of detention for the two suspects.

As reported UNN, on June 5 last year, two men made an attempt on the life of activist, the leader Odessa “Automaidan” Vitaly Ustimenko on Fontanskaya road, Odessa. Men stabbed the victim several blows with sharp objects. The activist was still alive.

Also recall that the court extended the measure of restraint in form of detention for a suspect in the attempted murder Ustimenko.
