According to market research more than 70% of users are Millennials not turning the screen of the smartphone when shooting and watching videos. And no matter what picture can be adapted to a horizontal format, young people are still accustomed to see what is on the vertical screen. Taking into account this factor, Samsung has released a new TV with a vertical orientation.
The novelty has received the name Sero and not, strictly speaking, is a vertical TV – there is a simple mechanism to rotate the screen from portrait position to landscape view. The difference is quite noticeable, because the screen size is 43 inches. Flip the TV will have to manually, but to synchronize with a smartphone via NFC automatically. And the translation in a vertical position on the screen duplicates what you are browsing on your phone.
According to one of the top managers of the company, they wanted to “think outside the box” and give users “new viewing experience”. But to risk the new one in no hurry — while the TVs Sero is only available in South Korea. Price is $1600 per copy.
