Sytnik in the United States: Probably my work in NABOO coming to an end

“Now I stand, perhaps the last days in office,” said Sitnik.
He explained that the Parliament registered a draft law, which gives the opportunity to dismiss the leadership of NABOO and allows dismissal for political reasons.
“But political motives are very simple – not everyone in Ukraine likes the fact that someone actually investigates corruption schemes actually freezes the assets of and really intend to return them to the people of Ukraine”, – said the head of the anti-corruption Bureau.
On 6 December, the heads of the factions of the BPP and people’s front has registered the draft law establishing the right of Parliament to Express no confidence in the leadership of the specialized anti-corruption bodies. In addition, the President, according to the document, will be able to dismiss the Director of NABU in the case of an not criminal, and even administrative violations.
To put the bill to a vote today, December 7.
