Supporters of an independent Catalonia will not recognize the resignation Pokdemon

Supporters of Catalan independence would not recognize the resignation of the authorities of Spain the head of the regional government of Carles Pokdemon and will consider him as their leader, at least until such time as the citizens decide otherwise in democratic elections. This was stated by the suspended Madrid Vice-President of the Generalitat de Catalunya of Oriol Junqueras in the Barcelona newspaper El Punt Avui.

Yorkers reported that Barcelona did not recognize the coup or any other undemocratic decisions made by Madrid against Catalonia.

He also warned that “in the way that opens now, there may be moments of uncertainty, doubt or contradiction”, but pointed to the fact that there is no other choice but “go ahead and build up strength”.

On 27 October, the regional Parliament of Catalonia voted for the recognition of independence from Spain. Later that same day, the Spanish Senate gave the city the right to impose in Catalonia direct rule.

Today it was reportedthat according to the poll, the independence of Catalonia from Spain support only 29% of respondents.
