This fall, the Odessa team was led by four coaches, two of which with the prefix “acting”, but only when Oleg Doube results were stable.

To prepare for the season of “Chernomorets” had a new cast. Familiar personnel reshuffle in the summer led to the loss of a large group of players scattered across different cities and countries. The coaching staff headed by Alexander Babich could have filled jobs the little-known newcomers, but in the midst of the off-season in Odessa again began to appear familiar faces.

Back the players who contributed to the most successful European Cup season-2013/14 – Eugene Zubeyko, Ivan Bobkov, Sergey Politylo and Alexei Antonov. This was encouraged by the Odessa fans, not knowing what will face these players. And later, in August, “Chernomorets” has another “vozvraschenets” – Denis Vasin.

The beginning of the season was “Chernomorets” worse. If an away defeat with the minimum bill from “Dynamo” has not surprised, about the home debacle against Stal wouldn’t say that. Indeed, Kamenskaya team in the summer season, suffered even greater losses than in Odessa. The loss of staffed primarily by young people, “steelmakers” became the first disturbing call for Babich. And then entrusted to him the team only started going downhill.

After the away defeat with the score 0:3 from “Mariupol” steering “Chernomorets” said: “This defeat take – not guessed with structure and not to reach the consciousness of the players. This defeat apologize to the fans.” Not seem to got through it to the consciousness of players and in the next match, when, taking the lead at home with “Alexandria” of 2:0, the citizens have completed the game in a 2-2 draw.

After that match in South Palmyra began to discuss, what is the amplitude of the wobbling chair under Babich. It was clear: had a couple of failures – and the coach is not to avoid fan wrath. Obviously, they knew it and the club, but the change did not dare. Perhaps it was fresh in the memory of the start of last season when in the first rounds “Chernomorets” has suffered three defeats in a row, and then gave unbeaten run as many as eight (!) matches.

But a similar transformation this time did not happen. The sailors lost in a “Olympic” and the house “Heather” that was the last straw… no, not for guidance, and for the fans. Immediately after the final whistle of the meeting with Rivne players, angry fans called Babich to his sector, where he was a Frank conversation. And after following the coach chanted “Go away!”, it became clear: resignation is inevitable.

Replaced Babich with the prefix “acting” assistant Alexander Granovsky work began dashing. Surprisingly, he was sent to the youth team of experienced Antonova, Polity and Bobko. And it is necessary such to happen – in the first match under his leadership, Chornomorets suffered a devastating defeat 0:5 against Zorya. And it’s one unfulfilled Luhansk penalty.

Typing in seven rounds only one (!) point, the Odessa team was shocked and battered football statisticians: a negative indicator was not in the club’s history from the distant 1936! And I want to believe that the record Babich and Granovsky will never be broken.

Two days after the return of the sailors from Zaporozhye on the club database in Sauvignon General meeting was held, during which the General Director of “Chernomorets” Anatoly Misyura said: in connection with the disease Granovsky to guide the training process of the basic structure will be the senior coach of the U-21 Alexei Chistyakov.

After winning Kropiwnicki not deprived of sense of humor of the Odessa fans immediately noticed: new coach “Chernomorets” in a match I scored three times more points than the predecessors in seven games.

It was expected that the parish douba will be an emotional surge for the Odessa team. And so it happened: in the first three games under his leadership, “Chernomorets” steadily gaining points. But when emotions are diminished, followed by crashing home 0:3 from the militancy of “Vorskla”. “From my own experience I can say: when the team that doesn’t have a stable game, able two-three fights in a row, it is time to wait for the collapse”, – said after the defeat of Poltava Oleg Dulub.

Failure in the match with “Vorskla” has allowed not only to analyze errors but also to work on improving the game. Fortunately, came to a place two-week break in the championship for teams. After it followed a hard-fought victory over “the Dynamo” became the main sensation of the tour and marked the beginning of a run of five successive unbeaten run. Interrupted her misfire in an away match with “Veres” (1:3), who had to lay down a good impression in this season.

The ending of the autumn part of the championship, which is due to diseases, injuries and suspensions “Chernomorets” spent not in the optimal structure, ended with two home draws – with “Dawn” and “Star”. But not forgetting, that was before the advent Duleba and that was with him, the Odessa fans on a large number of peaceful outcomes do not complain…
