Students-foreigners kidnapped in Odessa teenager with ransom

ODESSA-KIEV. 24 Nov. UNN. The Odessa law enforcement authorities detained a group of foreigners who were trying by criminal means to obtain “easy” money, kidnapped 17-year-old boy and demanded from the father for the return of the child a large ransom. About it the correspondent of UNN reported in the press service of the national police in the Odessa region.

Three citizens of a foreign state, who arrived to Ukraine to study in Odessa, decided to obtain “additional income”. Young men being in the Parking lot of one of the shopping centers, used physical force and forced minor to Odessa in the car, then left the scene.

The criminals threatened the father, in the case of non-compliance, to deprive the son of life.

The father raised the necessary money and handed it to the criminals, the son was released. Only then the victims decided to contact the police. Participants in the crime were detained in order St. 208 Criminal procedure code of Ukraine.

“Given the evidence, investigators initiated three criminal proceedings on h. 2 art. 187 (robbery), article 146 (illegal imprisonment or kidnapping) and article 189 (extortion) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. The consequence proceeds”, — is spoken in the message.

As reported UNN, four men kidnapped a disabled girl in Nikolaev.
