Our team is working urgently to change the situation so that the government has not lost doctors and was not the mass closure of hospitals,” said Maxim Stepanov in the television broadcast.
He noted that medipharma, which was developed by the previous heads of the Ministry of health based on the individual elements of the models of Western countries, but not adapted to the Ukrainian realities.
“NCSU calculated rates, which on 5 February approved the Cabinet of Ministers. These rates were calculated for only 2 months before the start of the second stage of the reform. Most tariffs were developed without consultation with specialized doctors, that is, they were officials who do not have a full understanding of how reality works in medicine,” – said Stepanov.
