It became known who Zelensky called immediately after the quarrel with Trump.
After disrupting his visit to the White House, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called French leader Emmanuel Macron.
The first leader contacted by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky after his quarrel with his American counterpart Donald Trump was Emmanuel Macron.
This was reported on the social network X by Financial Times reporter Christopher Miller, referring to a person from the close circle of the Ukrainian leader.
“Zelensky just spoke with French President Macron and is now talking with NATO Secretary General Rutte,” he said.
Note that Macron has already supported Zelensky after the scandal in Washington. Speaking to reporters, he stressed that it is Russia that is the aggressor in this story.

Zelensky’s visit to Washington on February 28 was accompanied by a huge scandal. He had a serious heated argument with his American counterpart, Donald Trump. The US leader did not like the fact that Zelensky opposed the ceasefire, but insisted on achieving a long-term peace. He also lost his temper due to the fact that the Ukrainian leader asked for security guarantees and rejected negotiations on the fate of Ukraine behind her back. Trump, along with his vice president J.D. Vance, shouted at Zelensky, accused him of “disrespect” and disrupted negotiations along with the signing of the resource agreement. The meeting was terminated prematurely, Zelensky left the White House.
European leaders are massively speaking out in support of Zelensky and Ukraine, promising further support. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, German Chancellor and future Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Friedrich Merz, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, as well as the leaders of the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Lithuania, Spain and other countries spoke out.
