South Korea imposed new sanctions against North Korea

South Korea imposed new sanctions against 18 of the North Koreans. It is reported Reuters.

Prohibited any financial transactions between these people and the citizens of South Korea. These measures taken in the framework of attempts to stop the illegal flow of money to Pyongyang.

The people against whom the sanctions were imposed, directly connected with the banks of the DPRK nuclear program. They are already under UN sanctions.

On 26 November, the US Treasury Department imposed new sanctions against North Korea over the “human rights violations and censorship”. They relate to the seven DPRK nationals and three North Korean companies.
