Since the beginning of the year in Ukraine recorded six cases of tetanus
KIEV. 19 Aug. UNN. Since the beginning of the year in Ukraine registered six cases of tetanus, one of them fatal. It is reported by UNN with reference to the public health Center of Ministry of health of Ukraine.
“For 2019 in Ukraine has already registered six cases of tetanus, including one death. Three of the five patients were children. The last case occurred on 19 August in Lviv region”, – stated in the message.
Thus, according to the TSOs, a boy of 7 years went to the hospital at 3:00 in the morning with cramps. Doctors diagnosed the child tetanus and introduced anti-tetanus immunoglobulin. The patient’s condition remains serious.
Noted that on August 10, the child fell off Bicycle and injured his knee. According to the mother, no vaccinations against tetanus to the child did not.
Recall from the beginning of this year, measles in Ukraine got sick 57107 people.
