The Kiev district court of Odessa court began the trial on indictment of a man suspected in the brutal murder and decapitation of a young woman in February 2018.

As reported the UNIAN in court, the man accused of committing an intentional murder, theft, illegal handling of weapons and causing bodily injury to a law enforcement officer.

Today, February 1, during the meeting of the panel of judges accused the continued detention for 60 days.

According to investigators, in February 2018, the accused came to visit her friend who lived in the apartment on the street Average, to congratulate her on her recent birthday.

“In the apartment between them began a verbal conflict that escalated into a fight. The man pulled out his gun and shot the victim in the head. As a result of the shot, the woman died, but the accused disappeared from the scene,” – said in court.

But soon the man returned to the apartment to conceal the crime and to simulate a robbery. But was unable to extract the bullet, and cut the victim’s head, which he took with him in a plastic bag.

In addition, according to investigators, the attacker stole cash and jewellery amounting to almost 170 thousand UAH.

“Note that about a week later the man was detained by militiamen. During maintenance he stabbed operatives in the premises of regional Department of police”, – said in court.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on the evening of 27 February 2018 in Odessa in the apartment, located in one of the houses in Moldavanka, was found decapitated body of a young woman – Anna Alievoj, born in 1989. On the night of March 5 a 25-year-old murder suspect was arrested.

March 7, at the request of the Odessa local Prosecutor’s office No. 2, the suspect was taken into custody. He reported on suspicion of a premeditated murder from mercenary promptings, robbery and causing bodily harm to the police (paragraph 6 of part 2 of article 115, part 4 of article 187, part 2 St. 345 criminal code of Ukraine). On the same day the head of the dead found in the catacombs. In July, the case was transferred to the Kiev regional court of Odessa.
