Sea Breeze-2019: in the port of Odessa went to a British destroyer
KIEV. The 4th of July. UNN. The British destroyer HMS Duncan came to Odessa to participate in the naval exercise Sea Breeze-2019. It is reported by UNN with reference to the message in Twitter-account of the exercise.
“The destroyer HMS Duncan, the Royal Navy of great Britain arrives in Odessa, Ukraine, on Sea Breeze-2019! Welcome to SB-19 (Sea Breeze-2019 ed.), the United Kingdom!” – stated in the message.
Before that in Odessa I went to the canadian frigate HMCS Toronto (FFH 333).
Earlier UNN reported that in Black sea there arrived three warships to participate in the naval exercise Sea Breeze-2019.
Recall, the NATO ships in the Black sea and conducted naval exercises Sea Breeze-2019. The maneuvers started on the 1st of July in the North-Western part of the Black sea. This year in the exercises, according to the press service of the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA, involved more than 3 thousand troops from 19 countries, including the United States, the UK and Ukraine. Lead role in training exercises, in particular in the development of the script of their conduct, play USA. It is planned that the exercises will last until July 12.
During the exercise is from Ukraine 9 ships, 2 aircraft and a helicopter.
At the same time, the black sea fleet of the Russian Federation decided to start his own maneuvers against the background of Sea Breeze-2019.
