SBU reported about the high level of terrorist threat in the Odessa region

KIEV. March 30. UNN. The security Service of Ukraine reported a high level of terrorist threat in the Odessa region in connection with the approach of the anniversary of the tragic events on may 2, 2014. This was during the briefing said the head of the SBU Department for the protection of national statehood and the fight against terrorism Viktor Kononenko, reports UNN.

“We are working in connection with the anniversary of the events of the second of may, which is approaching. If we talk about the terrorist threat level we will not hide — it is quite high,” – said Viktor Kononenko.

He also added that in Ukraine there is an attempt loosening of the situation inside the country that the secret service suppresses.

“We have to understand that against us is not the only operation in the East, and goes and loosening of the situation inside the country. Terrorism is one of the ways to undermine the situation. Today we effectively influence this quite a lot of cases warn, and will do so in the future,” – said the representative of the SBU.

We will remind, on may 2, 2014 in Odessa during the riots 48 people died and more than 200 were injured.
