SBU: in Odessa exposed on a bribe in 19 thousand UAH the Deputy judge

Employees of the security Service of Ukraine together with the Prosecutor’s office was detained on suspicion of bribery of the assistant judge of one of the districts of Odessa region. About it reports press-the SBU center.

Militiamen documented that the officer has organized a mechanism for systematic extortion and receiving bribes from local residents. For a “reward” the suspect artificially delayed the adoption of decisions on administrative offences before the expiry of the limitation period.

Security officers have detained the assistant judge at the workplace when receiving a bribe of $ 19 thousand UAH.

Open criminal proceedings under part 3 of article 368 of the criminal code (receiving a bribe in especially large size or the official holding especially responsible position).

He faces imprisonment for a term of eight to twelve years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years and with confiscation of property.

To the detainee it is declared suspicion in the Commission of a crime, the question on election to it measures of restraint.

During a pretrial investigation checks possible involvement in the transaction of one of the judges of the district.
