SBU found “agent of the Russian special services” in the Secretariat of the Cabinet

In the SBU said about the detention of allegedly exposed in the Russian intelligence services officials of the Cabinet Secretariat. Reports a press about it-service SBU.

“Employees of counterintelligence of the security Service of Ukraine exposed the official of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers on activities in the interests of the secret services of the country-an aggressor”, – is told in the message.

In the SBU said that the official was recruited by the Russian intelligence services during long trips abroad.

The secret service allegedly documented that the officer on the instructions of curators gathered information on the activities of government agencies and passed it to supervisors via electronic communication channels.

“With the assistance of the leadership of the Ukrainian government agent of the Russian security services, the SBU detained at work”, – said the Agency.

Open criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 111 (high treason) of the criminal code. Conducted searches at the place of work and residence of the official. The detainee it is declared suspicion in Commission of crimes reported in SBU.
