Saakashvili spoke about the unexpected offer from Poroshenko: it became known what the post suggested the former Governor of the Odessa region

A few days before the resignation from the post of Governor of the Odessa region, President Petro Poroshenko during a personal meeting unexpectedly invited Saakashvili to become the Ambassador of Ukraine in one of the countries of South-East Asia.

About Saakashvili said in an interview with Ukrainian media.

He noted that Poroshenko responded to the discontent of the former
the Governor of the fact that the President did not support Saakashvili in his struggle
with the acting mayor of Odessa. Saakashvili said that Poroshenko did this
offer in all seriousness.

According to the politician, Poroshenko made a false conclusion about the fatigue of the former
the Governor and his desire to “break”, but Saakashvili rejected the proposal and
said, “will continue to fight until the end.”
