Russians asked about the enemies of the country: Ukraine took the second place
Uncategorized January 10, 2018Russian citizens mostly believe that today their country has enemies, and the main enemy is called United States, Ukraine and the European Union. This is evidenced by the results of a survey by the Levada center, conducted in Russia in early December of 2017, according to the Russian resource RBC.
According to the study, 66% of respondents believe that today Russia has enemies, 21% deny their existence.
The main enemies for the Russians, as the results of the survey are the United States (according to 68% of the respondents), Ukraine (29%) and the EU (14%).
Next in the ranking of the enemies of the Federation followed by the former Soviet republics (those of them called by 10% of respondents), Poland (8%), Germany, NATO and England (6%), supporters of fundamentalist Islam and terrorist organizations Islamic state (5%).
4% of Russians surveyed called enemies of their country in the Middle East and “those who are in power / officials / government / “Putin’s friends”.

The terrorists, the Far East and corruption by the enemies of Russia believe 3% of the respondents, “the opposition / the fifth column / opposition leader Alexei Navalny” – 2%. Russian President Vladimir Putin the enemy of the country called the 1% of survey participants.

In addition, 23% of respondents believe that Russia is “surrounded by enemies from all sides”, 21% considered as the most dangerous enemies of Russia “the hidden, internal”, and only 16% said that “the root of evil is in error”.
A survey by the Levada center was held 1-5 December 2017, among 1.6 thousand people aged 18 years 137 settlements 48 regions of Russia. The statistical error does not exceed 3.4%.
