Roskomnadzor has sent to Google’s requirement to take measures to prevent the unauthorized mass advertising events owned by the company on YouTube.

This is stated in the message on the Agency’s website, RBC.
According to Roskomnadzor, “the number of structures that have YouTube channels, buy YouTube promotional tools such as push notifications, to disseminate information on illegal mass events”, which is partly aimed at disrupting the elections in the country.
According to the Agency, like push notifications are sent also to users that are not subscribed to YouTube channels of data structures.
If Google will not take the proper measures, it will be regarded as “interference in the sovereign Affairs of States, as well as hostile action, and hindering democratic elections” in the country, stated in the message of Roskomnadzor.
