The decree of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to dismiss Maxim Stepanov from the position of head of the Odessa regional state administration (RSA) is the abuse of presidential powers. About Stepanov, said at a briefing today, transfers “RBC-Ukraine”.

According to him, no statement on the dismissal he didn’t, although similar proposals he had received on Friday, but he was rejected.

“The head of the Odessa regional state administration before you, he’s no announcement has been written and writing is not planned,” — said Stepanov.

A decree on dismissal of the former head of the Odessa regional state administration called “very strange” and thinks that this document has nothing to do with the law.

“There was a decree about the dismissal. A very strange document, which, in my opinion, and convictions of lawyers, has nothing to do with the legislation of Ukraine. He went beyond the powers of the President written in the Constitution,” — said Stepanov.

We will remind, today, on April 8, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko by his decree dismissed the Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov. The duties of the head of administration Poroshenko laid on the head of the faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko” in the Odessa regional Council Sergey Parashchenko.

Poroshenko has appointed Maxim Stepanov, Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration in January 2017.
