Poroshenko on may 2 in Odessa: Russia does not extradite suspects

This was stated by President Petro Poroshenko, answering the questions of journalists, the correspondent of LIGA.net.
Poroshenko noted that most of the suspects in the case may 2 is already installed.
“Some of them arrested. Moreover, the list of those whom we supposed to release as part of the negotiations of the trilateral contact group, not those who took part in the fighting on the line of collision and the number of people who are reasonably suspected of Ukrainian investigating authorities in the events of may 2. Russia supposedly stands for transparent investigation, and immediately demands to release suspects,” he said.
Poroshenko said that the conflict on may 2, 2014 in Odessa began with the assassination of the Pro-Ukrainian participants of the action.
“From-for backs of militiamen gangsters with firearms killed a Ukrainian patriot” – he added.
The President stressed that Russia is not going to extradite suspects in the case who are hiding in its territory, for example, a former employee of the regional branch of the police Fuchedzhi.
May 2, 2014 in Odessa, during the riots killed 48 people, 247 suffered. Clashes in the centre of the city was towards evening between participants of Pro-Ukrainian rally, the fans of FC “Chernomorets” and “Metalist” on the one hand, and supporters of the Pro-Maidan.
Several participants Pro-Ukrainian rally were killed by the bullets of supporters of antimiani. Later a few dozen people died from suffocation or injuries due to a fire in Odessa House of trade unions where took refuge the Pro-Russian demonstrators.
In June 2016 has completed the identification of all the victims.
