Poroshenko has instructed local authorities to help release of the hostages in Kharkov

KIEV. 30 Dec. UNN. The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko confirmed the release of the hostages, who were held in the Department of “Ukrposhta” in Kharkov, and instructed local authorities to help the victims. He wrote about this in his microblog on Twitter, reports UNN.

“All hostages in Kharkov, was released. The assailant arrested. Thank you for the good work of the National police and the security service. Instructed local authorities to provide victims with all necessary assistance,” he said.

Earlier today, unknown in Kharkiv seized the branch of “Ukrposhta”.

A message stating that the Department “Ukrposhta”, located on Shevchenko street, entered a masked man robbery, came to the police on 30 December at about 14:40.

First captured by the “Ukrposhta” in Kharkiv released five hostages, among them two children.

Because of sahwat hostages “Ukrpochta” in Kharkov opened the proceedings.
