Poroshenko expects the deepening of political Association from the presidency of Bulgaria in the EU Council

KIEV. 1 Jan. UNN. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he expects Bulgaria’s chairmanship of the Council of the EU to deepen political Association and economic integration of Ukraine with the EU. The Head of state wrote in Twitter, reports UNN.

“I congratulate our reliable partner – Bulgaria – with the beginning of the first in the history of the state presidency in the EU Council. Waiting for progress in our ambitious agenda: the deepening of political Association and economic integration of Ukraine with the EU and strengthening EU support in the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine “, – wrote the President.

Recall, January 1, 2018 Bulgaria for the first time after accession to the EU takes over the presidency of the Council of the European Union.
