Poroshenko condemned the barbaric terrorist attack in Barcelona

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko condemned the “barbaric terrorist act” in Barcelona.

“In our world should not be place for hatred and violence,” he wrote, expressing sympathy to the victims.

Foreign Ministry urges Ukrainians residing in Barcelona, avoid the area where the attack occurred. Information on whether there are victims among the Ukrainians – even checked.

Earlier today in Barcelona, the van drove into a crowd of people. According to official figures, 13 people were killed. Another 80 people were injured. Already detained two suspects.

Responsibility for the attack took on terrorist group Islamic state.
