KIEV. July 24. UNN. The Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak, decided to dismiss officials of the 46th paragraph of the joint security of the southern region in Odessa, which led to the loss of large amounts of fuel and lubricants. About this Poltorak told reporters at a briefing in Kiev, the correspondent of UNN.
“I heard the head of the military service law regarding negligent performance of duties by the head of the 46th United center… I believe the actions of the 46-th joint and center of leadership, which is to control them as a betrayal. I have decided against the head of the center Colonel Eugene King, to deprive of the rank of Colonel, while he is deprived of pension and medical care in the Ministry of defence of Ukraine”, – said Poltorak.
According to him, the same action will be taken against the chief of the warehouse. In addition, two more officers will be demoted.
At the same time, Poltorak noted that the relevant documents on the results of the inspection referred directly to the chief military Prosecutor Anatoly Matios to open criminal proceedings.
“Hope for the fair decision”, – said the Poltorak.
In turn, the chief of the development and support of the material support of the Armed forces of Ukraine Dmitry Marchenko said that the Commission of the Ministry of defense will check on the proper storage of fuel and lubricants other centers, brigades, divisions.
