Police suspect the sales of physical evidence

The military Prosecutor’s office of Kryvyi Rih garrison detained the Sergeant on suspicion in illegal sale of drugs and firearms from the room evidence storage. About it reports a press-service of Military Prosecutor’s office of the southern region.

According to the report, the police of the Dnepropetrovsk area detained on 16 January during sale of the 1.5 bag of poppy straws and firearms.

In Prosecutor’s office claim that the police in early January started the sale of drugs, weapons and ammunition in the storage room for physical evidence of one of the departments of GU-Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

“In particular, 12.01.2018 for a reward in the amount of 5000 UAH enterprising policeman C civilian of 2.13 g of acetylated opium”, – stated in the message.

During the searches at the place of residence and work of the detainee police officers found amphetamine, methamphetamine, cannabis, poppy straw, and damaged packages with physical evidence.

The detainee is preparing a notification on suspicion of committing criminal offenses under part 3. 307(Illegal production, production, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sales of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues), part 1 article 263 (Illegal weapon handling, fighting supplies or explosives), part 3 of article 308 (theft, appropriation, extortion of narcotics, psychotropic substances or their analogues, or taking them by fraud or abuse of official position) the criminal code.
