Police of Odessa opened criminal proceedings on the fact of murder dog

ODESSA-KIEV. 21 Nov. UNN. The inhabitant of Odessa region who mocked the dog, is subject to criminal liability. About it the correspondent of UNN reported in the Department of communication Netpolicy in the Odessa region.

It is established that the animal was severely beaten and thrown from the seventh floor of his owner, who was in a condition of strong alcoholic intoxication, because it bit his finger.

Concerned passers-by who went to Church, wrapped a wounded animal, which whined plaintively in his jacket and immediately took her to the veterinary clinic, where it from the got injuries died.

“Information about this fact was brought in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations under part 1 of article 299 of the Criminal code of Ukraine. For cruelty to animals committed intentionally and which caused injury or death, the penalty of arrest for up to six months or limitation of liberty for a term up to three years. Pre — trial investigation”, – stated in the message.

As reported UNN, the man in the Lviv region will be tried for mistreatment of a dog.
