Planned to recruit Ukrainians in “Jihadies”: Odessa detained extremists from Uzbekistan

Employees of the security Service of Ukraine according to the information of Interpol and Europol detained in Odessa region citizen of Uzbekistan, declared internationally wanted for committing especially grave crimes, reports UNN , citing the press service of the SBU.
According to militiamen, the alien actively participated in the activities of international religious-extremist group”, Jihadia” (“Jihadists”). He was part of the structural subdivisions of the group “Jamaat”.

“The detainee, in particular, was responsible for recruiting new entrants into the ranks of extremists and promoted the ideology of radical Islam. According to the secret service, and similar activities for the dissemination of religious extremist ideology and recruit new members in the “Jihadies”, the attacker intended to carry out on the territory of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.
