American physicist sterling Backus and his son is already a year and a half in his yard working on creating 3D printed full-scale version of the supercar Lamborghini Aventador.

During this time they have invested in the project about $ 20,000 and was able to print body panel, taillights, headlights, and even the vents of several types of plastic. So the car was safe while driving, Backus has covered some of the printed fragments of carbon fiber.

It should be noted that the engine, undercarriage and other structural elements were assembled individually in the usual way. According to Backus, though the design details and is based on the Lamborghini Aventador, but they had to change every single panel to make the design something different and to avoid accusations of illegal copying or industrial espionage.
