News companies the participants of the charity race in Odessa will help to get a sports prosthetic for a veteran of the ATO

June 25 in the framework of the second international half marathon Half Marathon ArcelorMittal Odesa 2017 will be a charity race “Peramos” at a distance of 2 km. the Goal of the race is to collect the necessary amount of money to buy sports prosthetic lower leg to Odessa Nicholas Poltorak veteran ATO amputation. Everyone who registers for the race will help to realize a dream, because a portion of entry fees will be aimed at implementation of charitable initiatives.

During combat operations Nicholas Poltorak was injured; he lost a leg. After rehabilitation, the hero did not give up and even started his own business. Develops ecological farming – permaculture.

And Nikolai wants to return to the sport – fully run and to train. In order to realize the dream of the hero, prosthetists picked up for him a special running prosthesis tibia with a slight arc, allowing you to quickly overcome both short and long distances.

The cost of the prosthesis – 135 767 thousand UAH. It will set prosthetists from Odessa center of prosthetic and orthopaedic assistance “Tellus”.
