Outbreak of botulism In the Kharkov girl poisoned dried fish
Uncategorized July 23, 2017In Kharkov with a diagnosis of “botulism” in a serious condition hospitalized 22-year-old girl. About it reported in Department of communications Department of National police of Ukraine in Kharkiv region in Facebook.
July 21 from Kharkov was hospitalized in serious condition in the Kharkiv hospital with the preliminary diagnosis “botulism”.
According to the mother of the victim, the evening of July 21 called her daughter and complained of feeling unwell. In the hospital the girl’s condition deteriorated, she was attached to a respirator.
Militiamen established that the victim was poisoned dried fish purchased the day before in one of the shops on Klochkovskaya str.
On this fact the investigator of the Shevchenkivsky police Department opened criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 325 (violation of sanitary rules and regulations for the prevention of infectious diseases and mass poisonings) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. Circumstances of incident are investigated.
In Ukraine as of 18 July, the beginning of the year botulismotoxin 90 people, nine of them died. Eight of the nine deaths was ill due to consumption of dried fish.
