Odessa port plant stopped production of ammonia and urea
Economic forecasts of developments in the fertilizer market are negative
JSC “OPP”, it was decided to stop the production capacity of ammonia and urea for routine maintenance, major and current repairs of the equipment.

“In the global fertilizer market continues falling prices and demand for products, which explains not only the influence of the seasonal factor, but many other factors influencing trends in this market segment. The production costs of ammonia and urea, most of which are costs for key raw materials – natural gas, significantly exceed the price prevailing in the global market”, – stated in the message.
The economic forecasts of the situation on the market of mineral fertilizers are negative.
“Given the current unfavorable market situation, the decision was made to stop the power of the JSC “OPP” production of ammonia and urea for routine maintenance, major and current repairs of the equipment”, – stressed in the SCR.
