NTS map: location of forces in the Donbass from 20.04.2017

We offer to your attention an updated map of the fighting in the Donbass as of 20 April 2017.

In early April 2014, fighting broke out between Russian terrorists and units of the Ukrainian army.

Later Ukrainian side stated that the conflict anti-terrorist operation (ATO), and the Ukrainian army have joined volunteer battalions.

September 10, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, being at that time the Secretary General of NATO, said that among the militants of Eastern Ukraine were seen Russian soldiers and the Russian regular army.

Also, representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has repeatedly stated the supply of heavy equipment and weapons for militants of Donbass from Russia.

In turn, 28 September the Russian foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the militants in the East of Ukraine are fighting only volunteers from Russia.

To date, the government of gunmen “DNR” and the Russian military involved in the war against Ukraine is based on the territory of the city of Donetsk (by the “LPR” – the Lugansk, ed.), and the official administration of the Donetsk region is based on the territory of the city of Mariupol, Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.
