Murder suspect arrested Moskovskoy – Shevchenko

Law enforcement officers detained a suspect in the murder of lawyer Irina Mostovskoy. About it LIGA.net reported the press Secretary of the Ministry of internal Affairs Artem Shevchenko.

“Detained person who objectively is suspected of committing a crime,” – said Shevchenko.

Speaker of the police of the Kiev region, Nikolai Zhukovich declined to comment LIGA.net the situation.

In a press-service Ministry of internal Affairs reportedthat criminal proceedings on the fact of murder Mostovskoi the appointment of many forensic examinations, and the results of the most essential of them plan to in the near future.

The head of the Main investigative Department Vitaly Nevgad said that now is checking the testimony of the detained suspect in part of his involvement in the crime.

1 January 2018 in the river near Kiev found a body of the lawyers Irina Moskovskoy that went missing on 29 December 2017. Law enforcement officers are investigating the incident as murder. According to examination, the death occurred over two or three days before her body was found.

January 2 in Kiev at the building of the Main Directorate of national police held a rally with a demand to find the killers of human rights activist.

January 5, first Deputy head of the national police Vyacheslav Abroskin reportedthat the police managed to recreate the route Mostovskoy before the murder from her place of work in Kiev metro station Heroes of Dnepr.
